I already have the 30GB video...but the battery life sucks, it's more for letting my friends rip music they'd like...and I have a 2GB black nano 1g, and the battery life on that sucks too, and also I can only fit 500 songs (I'm a moody person!) and it's one of the first 1g's, so the screen is scratched BEYOND repair.

Also, I got a new job where I'll spend 2+ hours traveling to and from work, so I was going to get the black 8GB nano - but now there's a red one.

Money to a good cause FTW.

Perfect for the gym, for travel (I'll be in Paris in January, so the 25hr batter life will help!) And it'll hold a nice playlist of music for me to tend to all my moods. The new shuffle looks pretty sweet, but the batter life will be dead before a half day, and 240 songs ain't much. Great for the gym, nothing else really. I think I'm looking for some median to replace my other two. Ill just throw them on ebay...:hs:

I'm so excited! :blue: I'll pick it up this weekend or so.

I'm actually looking to pick up a nano somehow for the gym and when I don't need the whole 30gb video, but I don't want to spend any money, I'm looking for a freebie website or something :wiggle:

that's just more shit to break and get scratched and stuff.

I held the nano's - they are SOLID pieces...and I too like to listen to full albums.

An 8GB nano is perfect for someone like me who likes to just shuffle his songs when in the car, or listen to full albums when on the train or jogging or something.

And it will hold PLENTY of albums...:coold:

I'm going to get one online cause I think I'd like to engrave it :big grin:

yes more shit to break, but I still want it, and I'm not buying anything else. I'm still rocking my 3rd gen ipod with it's 2 entire hours of battery power. :o

and you should just get a shuffle. That's what I've been using for car trips and biking.
I have the playlist memorized though, I don't know if that'd be a problem for you or not. :o

    you can't

you set the playlist on your comp, or just autofill, and have it shuffle or go right through the playlist

i just set a playlist of songs i enjoy on my comp or toss only one artist on it and go

its great for going across campus on my bike, no need for a screen, ya kno?
