I recently got a high def digital camcorder that records in 720p at 60fps. My problem is that when I try to play it back, the video is choppy and lags all over the place.

    System specs:
    2.3ghz AMD dual core
    9600 GSO PCI-E Card
    2gigs DDR2 800

The movies are saved to .MOV format, so I use VLC to play them. However, this doesn't work well at all.

Is my system weak to play this stuff, or do I need a better player? If so, can you recommend me one?

Got the trial version installed. No difference. Quicktime seems to run it better than anything (its not 60fps smooth like it should be, though). Nothing else will run it with anything resembling a smooth playback.

Send a file to a friend with very similar specs, he ran it without a single hiccup.

You probably didn't set it up right....

Open Mediaplayer Classic.... Click View Menu ...Options...External Filters. Add CoreAVC filters and set them as preferred.

For some reason it seems to fix itself upon a 2nd reinstall of VLC. Video plays perfect now.

I have no idea what happened just there.

VLC doesn't use coreavc.... So you are not getting the best performance/quality out of your movies.

You will really notice how much better the contrast is with core on your interracial gay porn.
