    yah, it's up there in price. but, i managed to squirrel away 20 times that much in a savings account (whichi is a big accomplishment for me!) so i decided it was a nice, lasting reward/reminder (hence the piggy bank slot!) to keep on saving

    also, it's REALLY neat!

    I think for a small reward, that's a good price and a really cool looking rocket slash piggy bank :bigthumb:

    iirc, smoke damage is a concern for books (which is why I keep my comics in my bedroom, where I don't smoke), do you all think I should avoid smoking (cigars, once a week) around this sculpture?

    Smoke damage would accumulate over time, but I highly doubt a cigar once a week will do anything serious. Unless you want this in pristine condition to resell in 15 years, don't worry too much. Smoke in the house long enough though, and everything will turn yellow.
