haha bitches im 5'6" i deadlift like woah
don't you wish you were 5'6"
Actually tall people have an advantage when i tomes to deadlift, i am close to 6'4 and i deadlift 500, it is not hard to get there.
6'4" here... deadlift 375 but bench 205
oh i didn't mean anything about actual amount of weight you can do...i know we have an advantage when it comes to nice pulling...but getting correct form all the time = hard
stand on a riser FTW
6'5" here. I thought I was just crappy at deadlifts.
how much do you DL? i gotta measure myself but i'm at least 6'5" and i dont have a problem with them... my gripe is with squats.
rearranging the cage? (which does suck balls)
i dunno, didnt used to have a complaint with them. at one point i squatted 405... but i just took 2 years off and got back into it a few months ago, then had to take a month off when i moved and didnt have gym access. then when i got a membership i did isolation lifts with freeweights for a while and just started compound movements in the past 2 weeks.
squat is just difficult for me now... probably lack of core strength or lacking form but its just my current gripe.
6'3.211111111" here and dead 315lbsX2
my max DL at the time i was squatting 405 was 365... yesterday i did 335x2 so i'm not too far off from that. bench and squat need some work to get back to where i was though
I am not sure i understand this, Your form has nothing to do with your height.
training buddy is 6'4 got his dead up to 325x1 or so in a month back
whats your problem with the squat
like i said, its probably a lack of core strength or I just need to do it more to get my form in check
currently it just feels awkward to me, don't know how else to explain it.
