6'2", lift weights and eat protein but...

    All eating protein ever seems to do is make me shit liquid immediately after I work out and makes my veins pop out.. and my arms never get bigger no matter what exercises I do.. no matter what weights I use..

    Before someone says eat more.. When I do that, just makes my face rounder and belly bigger. I am probably not lifting nearly enough but I don't really have time to do more. So what can I do to make sure most of the protein I do eat gets put to good use? Just shit loads of curls?? :HS:

    1. You have time, especially considering you are making this post.

    2. Curls won't magically make your whole body bigger. Your arms are going to grow in proportion to everything else.

    3. Don't eat junk, but eat a sufficient amount. You're going to get a little bit of bloat no matter what you do.

    Just some pyramid shit I learned in highschool.. with 4 core lifts and curls. Basically start out with squat, then push jerk, power clean, and incline bench press.. starting with about 10-8 reps of lighter weights and moving to heavier where I can barely pull off 2 reps. Then with whatever energy I have left I do barbell curls until I shit my pants or start to feel pee leaking out of my dick.

    eat more. count your calories.

    i'm currently force feeding myself two whole grain peanut butter sandwiches..gym in 90 minutes :hs:

    also, i've found that doing 3 or 4 sets of 10 reps is not as effective as lifting to failure..

    now i try to go for 7 reps my first set, 6-7 my second set, 4-6 my 3rd, and 2-4 my 4th set.

    tears the shit out of my muscles.

    combine that with a strict ass diet and you should be making good gains. i gained 20 pounds in 10 weeks and increased my bf& by 7%. right now i'm gaining about 1-2 pounds a week. just increased my caloric intake by 250 per day so hopefully i'll start gaining quicker again.

    Mix it up, for example I switched from doing regular curls to drag curls and could tell a big difference in size gain

    A friend of mine has it and she's a nurse yet still has problems with it. I figure if it was 100% treatable she'd know about it. :dunno:

    There's still a lot of foods, high in protein that you can eat that shouldn't affect IBS.

    ever try doing 21's?

    curls on a preacher bench..... 3 movements, 7 reps from bottom position to 90 degrees, then 7 from 90 degrees to the top then 7 full movements? all at once with out stopping


    idk it helped my spaghetti arms pop out a bit :eek3:

    21s burn like a mofo. if I was using weights, I'd totally do that, but I'm sticking with beastskills.com until I get bored
    right now, I can do a tripod, and get my knees off my elbows for a second or two before failing horribly (and usually crushing my cat)
