I still don't think the new Falcons can compare to the Holdens style wise..

its just a zeta platform commodore, like the Pontiac g8. This is a more luxury focused version.

i just noticed the lack of gauges. Awesome.

Holden will have to do something about the VE's interior mid life. The falcon shits on it from high levels as far as ergonomics go. I still prefer the style of the VE inside though.

And i dunno, i quite like the red VE dash lighting. Its very in your face and Holden :naughty:

in the calais its blue/white, which is

would make shit so much easier to read
red is just too hard to read during the day, and being colour blind probably doesnt help my cause.

No top calais is top of the short wheel base line of commodores.

Statesmen is long wheelbase and further up the price point.

Calais is what you get when you want a normal sized car and all the luxury gear.

I really wonder who would possibly need to buy the stretched wheelbase models.

The normal ones are so big these days. Both the commodores and falcons need to be bought down a size or too. Back to say, the VN-VS size.

I see them all the time, i agree they are very attractive cars. But they are massive. BMW 7 series length.

Thats a Holden statemen, the luxury stretched wheelbase car. This is the high performance version of that. With the LS3 engine, magnetic ride control suspension, more visual aggression etc.
