Getting out of a relationship, no longer needed to keep paying for my ex-gf...that adds my car payment allowance on top of my own Scion tC. Looking into a used Euro..been wanting to do that!

    Choices:
    2003 M3 SMG 41k miles! - $35,000
    2006 A4 2.0TQ S-Line 12k miles - $37,000

Which one should I go for? Most of my friends say M3...they said its much nicer. But I like them Both...coz its BMW, M3, SMG...also Quattro, S-line, can add my most fav navi on the market - Audi Nav+

    Hit me with your thoughts...

2003 M3 but with a stick over SMG:) 2003-06 are the better years for E46 m3s. I would hate to pay for repairs out of warrenty on the SMG

My head turns quicker when an M3 goes down the street than it does when an A4 with a tiny S badge does.

I'm not positive what the S4 puts out but I'm guessing it's less than the 333hp straight-six.

He is not talking about the S4, he is talking about the A4, with a 4 cylinder turbo at that.

I think it's really a tossup, these are totally different cars. 4 doors vs. 2 doors. RWD vs. AWD. For what it's worth I have a 330ci 6 speed with the performance package, and I absolutely love it.

actually s4 is 340hp. i much prefer the motor in the m3 though. the 8k redline is intoxicating.

the two cars you've picked are sorta similar in price, but different in character. While sitting in them, you really can't say to yourself that you like one more than the other?

Personally I'd go for the M3, but with a stick.
