what are your opinions about 6-oxo....
i think it works for aromatase inhibition but i wouldn't use it solely for PCT
What about when cutting.... just to somewhat keep test levels higher since trib doesn't work....
you don't have anything to cut
A study was recently completed at Baylor University that looked at the physiological responses to 8 week cycles of 6-OXO. In this study, there were two groups – one that consumed 300mg 6-OXO a day and one that consumed 600mg a day. Each group took the 6-OXO for 8 weeks during which blood samples were taken at intervals throughout the cycle and at 3 weeks after the completion of the cycle. The blood was later analyzed for hormone levels and for toxicity indicators.
The full results cannot be released until the study is peer reviewed, however we can give you a sneak peak at the most important aspect of the study – the influence of 6-OXO upon free testosterone levels.
As you can see from the graph, the 600mg a day group experienced a very substantial increase in free testosterone that was sustained throughout the 8 week cycle. The levels peaked around the 3 week mark, where they measured roughly twice that of baseline levels.
Of particular interest is the fact that after the 3 week washout period, the levels of testosterone for both the 300mg and 600mg groups were pretty much exactly the same as they were at the start of the cycle. This indicates that there are no negative rebound effects upon testosterone levels after cessation of 6-OXO cycles.
It is also important to note that a complete blood panel showed no significant changes in toxicity parameters throughout the course of the cycles.
Thanks again, Ceaze.
Do you know how many mg per capsule? 100mg I assume? (Hoping for 300mg.)
so i guess this is in a standalone situation, and not as part of PCT.
8 weeks at 600mg/day would be damn expensive though, even if you bought the powder uncapped.
so let's say the average result is a doubling of free test for the 8 week period, after which it returns to normal. i wonder if the benefits of this would be worth the price?
With the prospect of t- levels reaching near castration levels when dieting... it might just be worth it if you're doing it natural. No wonder it's called 'cutting.'
why arent more people taking it if people are getting these kinds of results? i never hear much about 6oxo
that's true, i was comparing in my head to the cost/effectiveness of a similar length cycle + pct. But if you're doing it natural, that would be irrelevant.
Isn't Patrick Arnold also a high ranking member of the company that produces 6-OXO? Kinda like an India-Guggel situation
edit: nevermind, he is a high ranking person at the company that provides the ingredients to ErgoPharm, heh
ergopharm is patrick arnold's company
so its like a small steroid?
i wonder if these type of results are typical for all AI products (atd, arimidex, etc) ?
i was reading this thread http://forum.bodybuilding.com/showthread.php?t=708785 , the guy was testing an ATD product for 4 weeks, and got blood work done before and after. His results also showed a near-doubling of free test, just like the 6oxo study. Obviously this is nowhere near as controlled and reliable as a clinical study, but still interesting.
I believe he says that in total, he used around 60 caps of the product over 4 weeks, which is WAY less expensive than 600mg of 6oxo for the same amount of time.
