I am getting a new 6.5 Grendel AR upper. It will be flat top with a low pro gas block with no front sight.

Would I be ok with standard Leupold (or similar) rail mounted rings?

Would I be better off with a mount like this? It is a lot more money... what are the advantages?

Also does anyone have any experience with the Burris Fullfield II™ Tactical Scope 6.5X-20X-50mm? I think that is the one I want.

Details are on this page. Its at the bottom.

Please let me know the pros and cons of each. Thanks!

the majority of builds i see with the SPR mount have 1-4x variable optics :dunno: i'm sure it would be good, but i think it depends on what you're doing with the rifle.

with that said, larue is always a good choice, but perhaps someone with more experience can chime in :hs:
