what year? My father in law has an 02 XL Denali with 150k+ on it and it is still running great. He got some warranty work done to it just before 100k (differentials and tranny) and the thing is running great.

    Best of luck with it.

Nice truck. I'm debating between a Tahoe Z71 and a Yukon Denali

If you're looking at GMT900s, Tahoe Z71 is the ONLY smart choice. In GMT800 trim, that's a toss-up. I love them both.

yeah.....i think you will be happy! His extended warranty even covered his brakes! I wouldn't believe that a warranty would cover brakes at 100k, lol.

I would cash in on that warranty as much as you can. diffs, tranny, brakes, etc.

can you upgrade to the 03+ steering wheel?

IMO, the older style wheel doesn't blend in well with that interior

    Thanks!

I think that might be possible... but likely the SIR coil (clockspring) would also have to be changed out. Not sure if the modules are compatible since the '03+ GMT800 used Class-II Databus, while the '01 truck he's got is using an older system. BCM might choke on the output from the newer controls on the wheel.
