    Response times have become pretty irrevelevant these days as manufacturers use different ways to calculate them and some just plain up lie. I wouldn't worry about it so much, but google the monitor you are interested in and see if it has issues with colour uniformity or input lag or any other issues.

    As soon as I got home I went on newegg to compare prices and read all the reviews, it was reviewed really high and people said it's an awesome monitor.

    I was just asking because I play some games, not too many and my buddy was like you need at least a 3ms monitor for it to be good. They advertised this monitor as 2ms and when I got on new egg it said 5ms (2ms GTG)
