I think I'm going to get one of these, but i'm having a hard time deciding between the two. The 460 has the benefit of also being able to fire the .454 and .45LC, but the .460mag rounds are quite a bit more expensive than the .500SW (from what I could find). The .460 is probably a little better performer. Also, the shortest non-bear-kit they make is 5" and I like the look of the 4" bbl better. The .500SW is a little bit cheaper, and the ammo is a bit cheaper, and they have it in a 4" barrel. The down side being that you can only fire .500SW in it. Any other thoughts? How big a difference is the cost of the ammo? It would be for range fun, and for a possible hunting sidearm in the future.
