went to see it tonight, not impressed, its got a 3 plate clutch and a full built engine, the clutch is verry hard to drive and will take getting used to...
the guy claimed it needed new plugs thats why it ran kind of shitty...
just thought i could get some opinions on ot, it heats up very quickly which im guessing is because of the stock radiator...dont think there is a clutch fan and the hood looks like its melted because of the heat....

Why is there duct tape in the engine compartment? I wouldn't get it. Get something that would be more reliable. :ugh:

I wouldn't get it man. It doesn't seem very reliable at all. Heating up as high as you're saying it is isn't a good thing. Also the fact that he spent all this money on the engine but didn't do stuff to keep the engine safe (such as the radiator) scares me.

Also, a 500hp anything will not be good for a daily driver.

Fuck that shit. Ghetto ass build FTL. Just wanted power so he bolted on a bunch of crap, and didn't address ANY of the other issues associated with acquiring that power, such as cooling and braking. If someone is retarded enough to neglect that, they've probably not taken care of the car.
Hell, My Rad was swapped to something more effecient when a STOCK sr20 was put in, w/ 2 large diameter electric cooling fans in place of the clutchfan. And this car was making, in all its glory, about 240ish whp in its later stages.
I also had a 3puck clutch, it was grippy as hell and didn't make daily traffic driving fun, but it was still ohhhh so nice.

There is a reason the price is only 7,000. That car is garbage. that's why.

Agreed, this build sucked from the start. Many important parts of the car were not upgraded in correlation with the power upgrades. Poor planning and lack of real improvements do not merit the car much credit.

    Its all been mentioned above.

My god, you can not comprehend being stuck in traffic with a three puck clutch, never again!

That thing looks haggard as hell!

i'm asking $7500 for my 240 and its 10x better than that (minus the 500hp)

its a 93 coupe with NO rust, no spoiler, 17" sentra se-r wheels with new tires. swapped in is a series 1 R33 RB25DET. the motor is all stock so it's 250hp. FMIC, fuel pump, water pump, tstat, timing belt all new. JDM C's short shifter which is like $300 by itself and very rare. R32 GTR US side drivers seat, cheap ebay "nismo" passenger seat :)ugh:) but who cares, greddy profec b boost controller set at ~10psi right now, greddy emanage (not hooked up). Battery relocated to the trunk. runs like a champ, idle is as smooth as a baby's ass, pulls like a train.

problem: manual locks/window. passenger side window spool is fuxored up so the window does not roll down, or up for that matter. i have the inner door parts for power windows, need the switches and other stuff.

im probably forgetting some stuff, but all good, nothing bad

 The fuck are you going to do with a 500 horsepower daily driver? Either buy it for racing, or let someone else buy it for racing.

    500-hp CA?

    Wrong.

If there WAS such a beast, we'd KNOW about it on 240sx.org.

Built motor, yet nothing's cleaned up? Bullshit.
