I am doing the mail order subscription from that NY comic store place.
You need 10 titles total in order to do it. I have picked 5 out.
    I need 5 more.

I am REALLY open to suggestions.

Back in the day I really enjoyed Vertigo titles. I have been out of the loop for quite a while now. The only sure thing I can think of is Hellraiser (which is one of the 5 I already have).

    Any suggestions?

I want to read the Batman RIP story thing.
So I picked out the titles that will carry that storyline + Hellraiser.
That might actually be 6 titles, but it doesn't really matter.

I figure that for the moment that gets me up to my ears on superheroes.

Back in the day (like 10 years ago) I was heavily into the Vertigo line. Sandman (duh), I read a title that has been gone for a while called 'Shade the changing Man'.
I don't even remember the other titles. Peter Baggs 'Hate' was something I looked forward too.
I think that zombie stuff that was popular last year would have gotten my attention.

Throw out suggestions that aren't superheros. I am willing to pay for some crap to get to some gems.

Captain America has to be on this list.
As far as DC is concerned just pick one of the various Geoff Johns titles: Green Lantern , Action Comics etc.

I picked up Captain America and wasn't too impressed with it. I get enough Captain America storylines with the Secret Invasion and Avengers Invaders stuff.

Like everyone else here, Walking dead is amazing. The Boys is a great series as well. check out Invincible, even though it fucking never comes out anymore.

Green Lantern is the best comic out imho, and deserving of anyones sub-list. Anything else by Geoff Johns is really good too like Action Comics and Justice Society. Other DC titles I like are Detective Comics and Green Lantern Corps. I'd add Captain America too.

Fables is really good, but the way it's reading, it seems it's about to warp up. It's about fables like red riding hood and prince charming, but they in the real world, actually it's kinda hard to explain.

Scalped is good, but i've only read the first trade, the 2nd's coming in the mail. So far it's about indians living on a reservation, and this one guy comes to town and your not sure at what he's working at.

    Both are Vertigo titles

Ex Machina is published by Wildstorm, Good book, it's from the same guy that wrote Y the Last Man. Which was good, if you didn't happen to read it.
