5 or 6 meals a day

    i know if your trying to lose weight you are suppose eat 5 or 6 small meals through the day. But what is the minimum amount of calories you should be eating in these meals to keep the metabolism up?

    expend more calories then you eat throughout the day

    im going for somewhere around 2000-2200 a day

    You'll still want to put the bulk of your calories morning, noon and evening. You sprinkle in the other 3 to keep a constant food supply so you're body is not looking to store fat. So you'd do three meals about 600 and then 3 about 100. That's rough but you get the idea. One tsp of peanut butter can be considered a meal.
