5.0 Mustang project car?

    long story short we sold the plymouth for double what we bought it for and now lookin for another project car and were thinking a 5.0 foxbody stang, good idea?

    I'd go with a 94/95 5.0 but that is personal preference.

    well i found a 88 nochback for 400 bucks, mint body and interior

    no motor trans or rear end

    LS1's a good choice.

    How light are you going to make it? If it's just an itty-bitty Mustang, you could get crazy and drop a 20b into the bastard and turbocharge the fucker. It'd be a COMPLETELY different way to do a domestic tuner. :bowdown:

    can't beat that with a stick. May I suggest 03/04 cobra motor/trans?

    Yes, cheap/ large variety of aftermarket parts and the 302 = bulletproof. The only problem is finding a good frame and motor.

    5.0 notch for drag
    94-95 for road course / autoX

    Depends on what you want to do with it. The Notch only lacks braking and suspension over the 94-95, and that CAN be remedied... for a price...
