what are some other nice .45 hand guns besides 1911 models?
p220 sport looks bad azz but pricey.
Off the wall and inexpensive I have heard good things about the Ruger P-345
P220 is very nice as you've observed, and somewhat pricey although not as much as a really good 1911.
The Glock 21 isn't bad and I actually prefer it over the 220 from a practicality standpoint.
The Heckler & Koch USP and USP-C are both fine handguns as well. I had a USP45 and a USP40 at one time and the 45 was a dream to shoot.
What do you want to do with it?
Rugers add for the P345 implies that they're better than the 1911
ruger almost states that the P345 is better than the 1911
Glock 21 or if you want something a little more compact, a Glock 30
p220 can be had for $599. if you go to www.sigforum.com you can ask around and someone can refer you to the shop that sells it at that price.
definitely. The local cops carry 21's, and they can't stop raving about them. A friend of mine has the 30, and it's a nice carry weapon.
Where is this? Havent seen any P345 ads
I am looking for an accurate target gun. I do not need anything compact and cant carry in IL. I already have a ruger mk II and xd9 so now I am looking for something a bit bigger.
Go with a P220. Excellent gun.
Glock 21. Easy to clean and maintain, reliable, and has 13rd mags.
Capacity on the Sig sucks.
Daisey BB Gun....
Red Rider > Daisy
the new issue of Shooting Times has one.
the XD will be a .45Gap
CZ makes a great .45 with a model just for competition shooting that has been doing real well on the circuits.
Another vote for the Sig P220. I love mine. Very comfortable and hella accurate. If you concerned about price check out a Sig Certified Pre-Owned. They're used, but have been completely worked over by Sig Armourers.
what model CZ?
