My back rounded a bit, but it was fairly easy til the very top...

Got a complaint I was dropping the weight too loud and the floors cannot handle it. I think I will request them to put some rubber mats for a deadlift platform because I'm not the only one that deadlifts @ the gym.

that was a smoke show.. load 495 and struggle with it, you'd still probably get it up.

yeah I know, it's my lower back. I don't have flexibility at the 4th or 3rd lumbar so my back bends at a different spot. I'm seeing a chiro soon..

he's saying its not because of the weight, rather he has a problem with his lumbar preventing proper form.

ceaze even in the "good position" his spine doen't really look neutral.... am i wrong? seems like his butt should be pointed up more to give the lower back a good arch... Even though I'm kyphotic, I usually actively engage the lumbar area through the deadlift because Having it over-curved makes it feel better.... without doing this, even if my lumbar is at a subtle arch, I feel a slight twinge in my lower back when DLing.

If I could mobilize my thoracic area and make it straighter, I probably wouldn't need to do this.
