    holy shit. didn't think too much of this feature, but I was wrong. totally awesome for astrophotography and it's much fun to put on a long tele and zoom in :mamoru:

    Good for critical focusing and a few wacky angled shots here and there, but the inability to focus while liveview is on really limits its functionality.

    it's kind of hard to see if things are in focus with live view. MEH

    tried zooming in? you can get to 100% magnification (one pixel on sensor = one pixel on lcd) it's the holy grail of focusing for astrophotography and macros

    My photography usually involves moving things... but if I was doing macro then it would be useful.

    How much battery does live-view use?
