Such a thing?
I'm pretty sure there was a .40 cal MP5
Also these guys make some: http://www.famae.cl/productos_armamento.php
sure, why not
Ump .40 sucks.
Theres a .40 and a 10mm version of the MP5. The .40 wasn't made for to long though, it was replaced by the 10mm. 10mm is more or less just a more powerful .40 round.
There is also the UMP. MAYBE calico made a .40, but I haven't heard of it.
There are also the M4 conversions to shoot 9mm, .40 and .45.
Personally I'd rather have a .45, more powerful knockdown power with less snappy recoil in a similarly sized package.
Um, the 40 is an underpowered 10. The FBI issued the S&W 1006. It was too much for small guys and womenfolk so they ordered it with reduced power loads, 10mm Lite. The ammo folks decided they didn't need all that space when they weren't going to fill it with powder, so they shortened the case, hence the .40.
Read what I said again.
