What are people getting out of their 4.3s? I'm getting about 24-25 in the highway. Hopefully better with new 02 sensors.

    Mileage is 132K.

Im getting about 18-20 mixed driving. Its a ZR2 spinning the 31s so im sure that hurts the milage a little

It's nice for the commute, I can get about 360-370miles a tank.
Corse to get that I needed.. U/D pulleys, K&N filter, EGR limiter. I dont know if the exhaust or engine programmer helpled my mileage though.

    15 mpg/highway w/cruise on:coold:

Doesn't really matter since it's not meant to be a Geo Metro.

I have a 2.8, 700r4, screwed rear.... and i get 14mpg with the new intake on... thats a mix of highway miles (80mph at 3200rpm in OD) and driving around town, with the occasional 5500rpm shifts to see if i can chirp 1/2... 8times out of 10 i can :)

My old 92 4x4 S-10 used to average about 19, which I never thought was great given my 3/4 ton 350 full sized pulls 16-18 with way more power and torque.

Newer Vortec heads are leaps & bounds better than the LB4 & L35 heads.

i get about 28 with mine on the highway and ~22 around town...all mileage mods..true functional ram air, electric fans, K&N, Hypertech chip, and underdrive pulleys...

oh yeah...and its a 71 model with 160K on the clock and the engine has never been broken open...
