Im looking into getting a wireless PCMCIA card for the G4 Titanium Powerbook. (first generation 400 mhz.) My first gen didnt come Airport ready and came with OS9.

Wondering if anyone here has used third party hardware for their wireless setups. The Airport cards are discontinued, hard to find and overpriced on eBay. There are a few third party cards for 1/3 the price. I've read that I need OSX to run the hardware. Can my 400 mhz with 384 mb/RAM run OSX without problems?

Upgrade the ram to 512mb (a gig if possible) and do a fresh install and your machine will be in tip top shape.
