3M is 5 miles from me and their campus is a shit hole compared to what you think that it would be.

105 is probably my favorite polish period.

well, 3M Ultrafina is the new hotness. Maybe they can do some cross pollinating and get a Zaino quality product.

Ultrafina already has a new name, Perfect-it Ultrafine Machine Polish. Part number is the same, says on the tag the formula is unchanged. Spiffy new label too.

3m is getting a bunch of new products and is dropping a lot of products.

There 1500 sanding pads went from dry sanding to these new nifty wet sanding pads. The swirl remover and polish are the same, just new labels and part #. However the new rubbing compound is a new advanced formula and is fucking crazy awesome. It basically eliminates the need for polish, however i still use polish. It works a lot better then the basic rubbing compound that they have now.

To me, #80 is all that UltraFina is and more. Corrects and looks just as wet. The D-151 Reconditioning Creme is amazing.....two months durability with true correction.

    Biggest thing to me.......price.

Megs has always had the be best bang for the buck and 3M is know for being higher prices. Is this going to change the prices of the Megs products?

I do know 3M has some cool new pads.

Ultrafina is more goof proof finishing down hologram free. I am now seeing cars again that I used Ultrafina on back in the late spring and early summer and have had no issues with holograms returning. In fact, one of the vehicles (Mercedes C230 Kompressor) was still absolutely swirl free too-probably helps I convinced the owner to switch over to ONR for his weekly washing.

I really like #80 by PC though, plus it is great via rotary on single stage paints.

Better run out quick and order a can of #16 wax from Canada before they stop making that too.

I really don't see Meguiars stopping any production of any products. 3M just owns them. Many companies change ownership without product change.

    Oh yeah.......3M bought out EDGE!
