3k for laptop

    so i was thinking about getting the Qosmio from toshiba, but that thing is HUGE... i don't want sony, was also considering portege from toshiba, seems to be a good laptop...

    any suggestions, i will be using this for typing, internet, email, some coding, some picture editing, no gaming, no video editing, nothing that would require strong cpu...

    Look at some of the sagers on powernotebooks.com. GREAT price>value.

    If you're in the US then Apple, Lenovo Thinkpads and ASUS are three of the better brands to look at.

    Sagers are the best. I have one that's 3 years old (using it now) and it still kicks ass.

    Powernotebooks.com or xoticpc.com is the way to go. I'd choose XoticPC though, the owner Justin is a wicked cool guy.
