Im looking for a good program to make a 3D rendering of a custom computer case I plan on building. I need something that uses accurate measurments and I'd like to be able to get it as detailed as possible. I have looked into TrueSpace, because I heard that was good, but I dont want to buy a copy of it and you cant save in the demo version. Anybody know of a free program I could use. Someone told me that a full version of TrueSpace 3 came on a cd in a recent magazine, Computer Art or something like that. Anybody know if thats available for download or would I have to backorder that issue??

Are you trying to model it just for artistic purposes, or do you want to actually simulate it so you can accurately cut your pieces, etc? If you just want to model it, I recommend Rhino3D, you can get a good demo for free. If you want to accurately model it for building purposes, look into Solidworks or a free CAD program.
