Has anyone ever had luck with getting a "3D" DVD to actually WORK?
I hate to think that working copies of great 3D movies are all but gone from this planet.
Even the 3D scenes in Freddy's Dead (with the glasses on!) are horrible. I've even tried it on a plasma TV thinking the curved screen of most tv's were the problem. Well... shit still didn't work.

If I'm not mistaken, most of the 3D dvd releases require glasses that use active electronics in the viewing shield.

Try a "3D dvd" search on eBay, I seem to remember coming across this info there.
