39deg C for Abit mobo new asus gives 33deg C WTF?

    Had old ABIT mobo KR7A (yes old i know) proc was 39 cpu 29 case

    got new asus mobo a7vxxx (yes still old) proc is now 33...

    idle temps, wtf I says.

    any one care to theorize?

    no mobo is 100% accurate on temp reporting... Not to mention that different boards do result in different temps, anyway. Don't worry about it.

    yeah it's just that 6 degrees is pretty significant, i mean with that big a margin of error my mobo could be like 50deg an I wouldn't know. anyway oh well

    a margin of error of 3 degrees would explain that... And there's no way that you'd be 50 degrees and not know it.
