last rep was a bitch but it went up steady.
now if i can just get my bench to go up
i keep forgetting to video, though it was dark out so you wouldnt have been able to see shit.
and deadlifting in flipflops is the key, i think.
i envision pulling 405x1 with a 225x5 bench.
i dont think theres anything wrong with that
thanks, dood. i just feel like my bench hasnt gone up much at all while my deads are rising nicely, at least for me. squats have gone up too.
that was like the opposite of me from december to now. my bench went from 285-330
dl went from 405-425
my bench is going down
what'd you do to train the bench?
me three... only repped 135s on monday

oh shit I was thinking deads. my bench is going down too
i started hitting the lats and rear delts hard (never really worked the lats that much)
lots of max effort benching
started doing overhead work
started doing rotator cuff work for the first time

Oddly enough, I always have any 2 of squat, deadlift and bench go up with the last lagging...after a month or two the lift that isn't improving starts to go up while one of the others begins to lag behind.
Did you "touch and go" on the deadlift or completely set it down for every rep?

focus on your overhead as much as your bench.
