360 mod crew... question

    my flashed 360 just got the RLOD, i did the xclamp already but it's pretty much done for.....

    if i get another 360, Can I swap the dvd drives so I don't have to go through all of the flashing bullshit again?

    i'm assuming it can't be that easy...

    Yeah, you can, but it's pretty much the same process, if not more actually than just flashing the new drive. Unless the drive you currently have is anything but a Lite-On, because the new one will be a Lite-On. And if you don't have a connectivity kit, you can't flash it. So in THAT case, yes, swapping the drives would be your solution.

    But now that I think about it, you still would have to be able to pull the key from the new drive (the Lite-On) in order for the old drive to work. So yeah, you're fucked if your current drive isn't a Lite-On...
