360 HDD Data Migration with third party cable

    Friend is trying to transfer his old 60GB data to a 120GB HDD. No idea why he didn't just get the official Elite migration cable but hey.

    He's bought a shitty chinese one which doesn't seem to be doing anything.

    His cable is identical to this kit: http://www.360kit.net/

    But neither of the software packages (XPORT360, XPLORER360) detect the HDD when it is plugged into the PC.

    Anyone else used one of these cables?

    :werd: I think he's just going to buy a Memory Unit now :rofl:

    fucker managed to get a 3 month old Elite from a guy at work for £90

    Guy was like "Well I tried to trade it in and that's all they offered me for it so you can have it for that, I think it's the 20GB one" :ugh:
