I got lucky and bought my adapter for $45. It works fine, never had a problem with it.

I have the original one. works good but nothing beats a direct connection...but if you need a wireless, then it'll be fine.

    Cost me roughly £0 :o

Could have got a 360 wifi adapter for about £30 but I personally don't see the point. Setting up a decent network is far better :)

I got an original one for my living room 360 from buy.com back in the days of the google checkout 15$ coupon, plus they had it on sale. I think i paid like 55 bucks for it.

Almost sold it, but kept it. When i moved again im now using it again. I doubt ill ever sell until im done with the 360.

Id look on ebizzle or craigslist and try and get lucky. I see em alot for dirt cheap on yardsale all the time.

But you don't have to :dunno:

You can shop around or just not bother as I did. Yes the RRP is ridiculous but what isn't these days.

Yeah I get that, he was also trying to allude to the fact that it is built into the PS3

I mean all fanboy talk aside, that is seriously a hundred dollars? I feel bad for you guys

I just use wired for both my ps3 and 360.

Shit seems to stream better that way for me so I just stuck with it.

When you can pick up PC USB dongles for <$10 yes it's absurd

I suppose it just helps Microsoft to break even on the console sooner than Sony will on the PS3.

Seems like Sony have been too generous this time round and can't really cash in on the peripherals. Sure there are Sony options but with no lockdowns on the alternatives it's too competitive.

Quite clever on MS part, a lot don't think about all the other stuff that adds up.

Yeah I have read this, and I'm thinking about starting to stream a lot more stuff so I will need to do this as well. My modem is right next to the PS3, but why plug it in if you don't have to :o

I see your point but Sony's money doesn't affect me, so oh well
