When i turn on my 360 everything boots up like it should, but my 360 controllers wont connect. I've tried syncing wireless ones with batteries, wired ones with a recharge pack as well..The X button in the middle just keeps on blinking and never connects..
To me it seems it might be a hardware issue with my 360.. anyone run into this problem?

That happened to mine, controllers would not sync. Never tried a wired controller. I had to replace the ring of light board.

To replace the board would be easy as shit. Finding one might be difficult though.

I have an extra swomewhere if you can't find one....

I had this problem. I believe the fix was to just keep taking out the battery until it connects.

what's this have to do with it? lately mine has had some issues and won't connect unless I am directly wired through my play and charge.

afaik the play and charge kit just charges it, still uses the wireless to connect/play. It doesn't turn it into like an original wired controller.

I still say the RF module is broked. The board just plugs in, the hardest part is getting the 360 case off.
