330ci and Merc Mountaineer

    I just did these last weekend. It was cold (40) and cloudy, so unfortunately I didn't get any great pics but the cars did come out quite well.

    2002 BMW 330ci

    Foam gunned with NXT mixed with a bit of Orange Blast and let it dwell for 10 minutes
    Foam gun with NXT and washed with 2 bucket system
    Pro SOL on lower quarters to remove tar
    Wolfgang clay
    Optimum Compound with foamed purple pad in some spots
    Optimum Compound with Edge blue pad
    VM with LC gray finessing pad
    4 Star UPP
    Rims cleaned with 4 Star wheel gel
    Wells and tires dressed with Stoners MS
    Top cleaned and sealed with Ragtopp
    All interior leather cleaned with Lexol
    Conditioned with Leatherique
    All carpets with cleaned with APC and my new brush attached to the PC

    2004 Mercury Mountaineer

    Wolfgang clay med and fine (tons of yellow spots)
    Optimum Compound with foamed purple pad in some spots
    Optimum Compound with Edge blue pad
    VM with LC gray finessing pad
    PB Nattys Red
    Rims cleaned with 4 Star wheel gel
    Wells and tires dressed with Stoners MS
    Glass done with Eagle 20/20 aerosol
    All interior leather cleaned with Lexol
    Conditioned with Leatherique
    All carpets cleaned with APC and my new brush attached to the PC

    nice work. how do you like the natty's red?


    edit: don't know if you have any, but if you use carnuba moose over VM on the FoMoCo color, it really pops.

    I really like natty's red. Definitely an easy carnuba to use.

    I do actually have Carnuba Moose and I definitely agree with you. I also like using UPP on silver and titanium cars.

    Looks great Lab! Nice attention to detail makes the whole truck look consistently clean.

    Damn! Nice job on both. :)

    Sucks that it is already that cold...but then again, we've had lows in the low 40s already in Dallas.

    BTW, those Mountaineers are really nice SUVs. My brother and his wife have one.

    thanks and yes they definitely are very nice SUVs. Lots of things that Explorers don't have.
