I was going to pick up a couple Korean ones along with 10 korean 17 round mags. Are the 33 rounders worth it just for fucking around/coolness?

Also, why the fuck isnt there a 9mm AR15 mag block that takes these

The factory g18 mags are awesome in that they work. What more do you really want? The korean knockoffs I cannot comment on other than I hear they also work.

There used to be a manufacturer that made a Glock AR mag block. From what I hear there is not much to it and many decent AR smiths should be able to machine one with little trouble.

Yar while I have you in this thread I have a few questions about my new G17. I know theres supposed to be a gap up front between the slide and the frame, but it looks to be slightly bigger on the left side. Also the top of my rear sight looks a little banged up, and is slightly protruding into the sight, I bought the gun new.

Are either of these things I should be worried about, or should I just go and shoot the fuck out of it?

It's a glock, just go shoot it. If it doesn't shoot then worry.

I've seen a 9mm AR before running Glock mags and you're exactly right; it looks goofy as all hell. The mag angles back towards the pistol grip.

For a 9mm AR, I'd still go with the 32rd. Colt mag setup.

It's common for Glock frames to be curved up or slightly twisted near the muzzle. It's usually called "Glock pignose". My G23 has it pretty bad...

Doesn't bother me ... shoots great :bigthumb:

Yeah my only concern was that one side curved a little more than the other.

We can't use the 33 rounders in Ohio - any firearm capable of firing more than 31 rounds without reloading is a "Dangerous Ordnance" and classified as illegal.

There are some that think they can use the 33 rounders if they only load them with 30 rounds, but I don't think I'd take that chance :o
