I've been thinking about replacing my DRebel with a 20D. A friend of mine just mentioned that I should hold off since he heard that the 20D's replacement is coming out in a couple of months. Anyone hear anything about this? 12mp? I figured OT would know first! :x:

lol, I assumed if it were actually replacing the 20d it would be the same price as the 20d. In reality, it will likely be in the 2-3-4-5k range, where the d2x lives :)

I put the undutchable firmware on it that upgrades the 300d to the software of a 10d and I love it.

The 2-3 second warm up time annoys me. By the time it's ready to shoot...the candid shot I wanted to take is over. :wtc:

I've played around with a friends 20D and I like it a lot.

My friend just sent me a coupon to Dell for 20% off for the 1D Mark II...$3096 shipped after discount and rebate.

The 1D Mark II is probably overkill for me and it's a little big but with a deal like that...I'm not sure if I can pass that up. :noes:
