neat. in for pics.
in.. got mine last week.. the lcd is sweet
yay the 30d crew is growing larger than the Nikon crew already!!
i love that lcd. i played with one at circuit city and was like
yeah yesterday i took a few pictures.. wasn't expecting anything much.. but when i took the pic and it previewed on the LCD screen.. i was like HOLY SHIT.. cause 2.5" is A LOT bigger than the one on the 20D.. even though it may only seem like an inch or so.. it makes a BIG difference.
ordered mine today with a tamron 28-75 f/2.8.. also picked up a 7 million dollar home
should all be here by next wednesday
I only ordered it 6 hours ago but I want it to be delivered already
I have a D30
respect your elders
digi crew since 00 sign in
I remember my Sony FD71... I use to carry 20-30 floppies with me lol. Damn, digicams sucked back in ~ 99
Even compared with modern bodies, there's very little 'wrong' with my D30....so long as you keep the ISO down it's very clean....the files, at least the RAWs scale very well...I've made 11x14's with them without any issue whatsoever.
It's also bigger and more solidly built than anything canon makes now short of a 5...and the fact that my copy has been pounded on since early 2000 and still looks and works as new says something too.
And compared with what was available in the digital realm in 2000.... well ask Derrict.
D30 > n00bs. I shoot with mine all the time and no one other than the gearheads I shoot next to at events has a clue my body is anything but brand new. My clients certainly can't tell since I know how to use it, know its weaknesses and what not.
There are better bodies now..no doubt. And I'll probably get one at some point...but there's nothing wrong with a D30...even in 2006.
pussy hurt caus noobs have better cameras
build quality is not appreciated enough. the 350d takes great pics, but i dont like the way it feels.
the d30 is the shit
knowing how to get the most out of a d30 > auto mode on 30d
So lets see, I've had the:
purchased at 2600
sold for 325
purchased for 2000
still have, would sell for 500
purchased for 1225
sold for 775
bought for 3400
still have, would sell for 3000
bought for 900
sold for 650
Lost 5175 on bodies thus far
Nah, give a n00b a 1Ds-II and a $5K glass budget and they still won't out shoot me.
yeah, but they'll sell it and pay someone better than you to outshoot you
no they'd rather brag about having the camera on OT than winning some lame contest
k, theyll sell it, buy a D200 and some nice glass, and still pay someone to outshoot him
