I know a couple people that sold their TT. Maintenance nightmare. I guess if the guy kept a great maintenance record, go for it?

    apparently a T-top?

It's the only way they came out besides a few slicktops NA's

If you didn't know even that I would advised against a purchase. These cars aren't spring chickens anymore.

You obviously don't know anything about the car. Go get a Honda

i kind of agree with this guy. newest models are about 11 years old and it sounds like you know absolutely nothing about them. might not be a good idea if you don't know what you are getting into

Sold mine at 70k miles due to just not driving it anymore.

Glad I did as the mortgage and child support slowly began to catch up with me.

I never hear anyone speak great words on the handling so I'm going to guess its mediocre. It's a heavy car. Out of all the 90s japanese sportscars, the only two I can think of that where praised for their handling capabilities are the NSX & RX7.

Most ppl just build these cars for straights. My friend is a Z nut, has 3 TTs and they are all always in the garage not running.

You are in for a big suprise if you consider the ability to work on a Jeep the same as the TT.

Go ahead man. Give it a shot. I'd advise against it FOR YOU though.

I had a NA and it was the biggest money pit ever, I can't imagine how a TT would be. Fun though.

Notoriously unreliable and hard to work on. I went a different route.

    I'd take one over a 350Z.

Nice car but like everyone said, maintenance will be costly. It was a sport car so people usually tends to drive it hard and hence more thing will wear early.

to put it in another way. i've wanted a 300zx more than pretty much any other car for a long time, but now that i can finally easily afford one i am not so sure about getting one.
