3000gt with factory infinity system

    Looking to replace the factory amp and add a subwoofer/amp setup to a 99 vr4 with the stock infinity system but keeping the stock head unit. I read on 3si that there is a converter to take the 6-pin din that goes into the stock amp into 2 sets of rca outputs, but I havn't been able to find it anywhere. I'm trying to avoid using a line level converter if I can, but any help would be appreciated :)

    why dont you just use taht 6 pin and use it on your high level inputs?

    Because I don't think the signal that is going through the 6-pin is even a high level signal, the 6-pin plug just goes into the factory amp so I'm guessing it's just some proprietary rca-equivalent setup they're using.

    Anyhow, I found this on sounddomain, looks like it's the thing I need anyhow...
