    From a post on m4carbine:

The NRA is offering a $300 Lifetime Membership through March 31st.

    Please call 1-800-672-3888

It seems that it is as easy as calling the NRA and giving them the code W9AVCRDE. This will only work if you are already a member.

Don't know if this has been posted yet.
$300 doesn't seem that bad. So is that a lifetime of magazines and junk mail too?

I'd rather do it for short time periods, just in case they start to deviate away from what I believe is the correct stance (they have in the past).

if that includes lifetime magazine subscription, that might not be too bad. a good time to support them too.

I normally do 2yrs at a time. The last time I checked they were running a special for $500 on lifetime memberships.

The nice thing about being a lifetime member (I'm not, btw), is that you can vote for the NRA's board members...meaning you vote on the people who shape the positions and stances that the NRA will take.
Or just be a regular member for 3 years, IIRC, then you can vote too, but I'd imagine that you'd have to not let it lapse.

I don't really like the NRA... but they are the best/most effective organization there is for 2A rights.

My dad bought me a lifetime sub when he bought me my first shotgun for my 13th b-day. Kinda neat.

I got in on this deal in December, you get the magazines, a shitty certificate 2 stickers and a pin. Havent got any junk mail or calls yet, but all they have is my address, no phone or email info. Worth it on my end, all ranges by me require you to be a current NRA member to be a member.

edit: Also you get a $10k life insurance policy and a $1k gun insurance policy for being a life member.

I have it from a while ago. The magazine is kinda cool. The insurance is nice.

    Besides that :dunno:

Figured what the heck and signed up. Didn't ask for any codes or anything. Perhaps they are getting desperate for money offering this.

Don't need a sponsor if you are already a member.

It's not that hard to investigate for yourself to see if this is legit.
    Sorry can't post links since i'm a no-av lurker.
You could always go to m4carbine and search for the thread.
Perhaps go to the NRA website, find their number there.
Or just don't do it, I don't care.

you get a patch, its pretty bad looking. In order to get the big item ( I think its a knife or something now, not a jacket) you have to pay full price one time no easy pay.
