    Have you tested them out? When I still had my mini had no luck with non ruger magazines :(

    Can you use AR-15 mags in those?

    No I haven't tested them out, but I haven't had problems with other sheet metal aftermarket ones - only the plastic thermold magazines. You have to spend a day carving them to get them to load properly.

    And no, AR15 magazines are different. You can drill & cut to get them to fit in the mini-14, but I don't know how well that would work.

    Ah cool been several years since i got rid of the mini but when i had it all the aftermarkets i tried always had some sort of problem with and some could be made to work and others just wouldnt feed right no matter what you did to them, and the Ruger mags were about $60-75 a pop.. Then one day somone offered me a trade my mini for his norinco underfolder couldnt say no :) but i do miss the mini sometimes
