I been using Zaino for about 5 years now and just recently I noticed (havent been detailing due to weather and I have enough product for 5 life times) that Zaino has new products out and they want $30 for 6 ozs of clear seal? That is a joke I mean come on that are so many other products out there that are similar or better for less money. Sal sure has marketing down to a science to get people to pay that much for so little. Sourveran is a better deal at that rate.

The Zaino Nazis were practically blowing each other over Clear Seal on Autopia. I got a sample, plus someone else sent me a full bottle and several other Zaino products. Says he paid for it but $132 worth of stuff? I have a feeling Sal is behind that.

Clear Seal basically does what the name implies. Puts a clear seal over whatever is on the car. The visual improvement is pretty slight, basically how the car looks is about how it looks after Clear Seal. I know the fanboys are raving about it but I've used it and for $30, you can do better. Besides, if Z2 and Z5 are so durable and Z8 adds some slickness and depth, there really isn't a point to Clear Seal, IMO.

Besides, I have the final beta sample (meaning production version) of Optimum's Opti-Seal and side by side comparison with Clear Seal, Opti-Seal blows it away. Very noticable improvement in depth and wetness. I used both over Werkstatt's Prime in silver vehicles. With Clear Seal, you can sort of tell something was added when side by side with a panel with only Prime on it but with Opti-Seal, the improvement was very noticable. Side by side on the same hood, my customer, his wife and both his kids all said the Opti-Seal side looked wetter and felt slicker.

I'm not going to bother even mentioning that on Autopia though, the Zaino Nazis will go nuts and I don't want to deal with it. Personally, I'd go with Z8 over Clear Seal. At least with Z8 you can tell you used something. ;)

Appears to be a no brainer in my book.....

EDIT-I believe David wants to keep the pricing quiet until he releases it...

Is the Opti-seal used over a way or over a polish and acts like a wax sealant?

Engrish? Opti-Seal is a pure protective sealant.
