Hey guys.. Don't post too much here, but I do lurk on here every couple of hours or so. I work out 3-5 times a week,
but 4 times a week is a ideal. I started at about 152, and now I'm at 159lbs. I know it's pretty weaksauce for being 6'1 but, I'm working on it.

    Ok pics.

Great progress.... You have put on solid mass and basically no bodyfat at all. Keep up the good work man. Your back is thicker, lats are slightly larger and shoulders are MUCH larger.

I don't count, because I know regardless of how much I eat.. it's not going to be enough. If I were to take a guess, it's goign to be around 2500cals. Which is why my gains are pretty small IMO.

But what I feel most important to me is post workout meals. I eat a can of STAGG chilli. It's two servings a can, at 25grams of protein, and 290 cals a serving. Then I put some shredded cheese on top, along with some saltine crackers. I do try as much as I can to stay away form trans fat.

What are you doing for your shoulder routine? I pound mine every week (maybe too much) and I'm not getting nearly that much growth.

does the dads childhood/teenager life affect what kind of genes you get ? He was a baseball player and was really into fitness.

I'm sure he has decent genes if he was good at sports. My dad was the PT/martial arts leader for the 1st Tactical Special Forces/Green Beret of South Korea.

You also have to remember, our parents generation had some crazy ass work ethics. They walked 5 miles in the snow to get to school... HAHAHAHA.:rofl:

He has abnormally thick wrists and snaps an apple in half. :noes:

Otherwise, he's just thick man now... not so ripped any more.

    I'm 24, 25 next month.
It sucked growing up as a twig. Especially when I had a long skinny neck, I looked like a girrafe. Those times ftl, but it's getting better.

I work out my bis and my back on the same day. I use to have an "arm day", but after reading this forum, it's pretty much considered ridicurous:mamoru:.

To be honest, I don't even know what half of the excercises I do called. I just do it because it helps

The set and reps change. I increase the weight with every set.
    3x8 pull ups
    5x5 dumbbell laterral raise
    5x5 seated dumbbell press
    5x5 dumbbell row
    3x10 dips, not weighted
2-3 other back machines I don't know the name off..
    Machines I use..
5x10 You sit down, and you pull the cable down in a "pull up" motion. palms forward.
4x10 Seated, legs forward, there's a pad on your back and you push backwards.
4x10. Seated, legs are on the ground, and you pull down, palms are pointed towards you.

I don't think they are crazy genetics, since I tend to eat a lot, but not gain weight. But yeah, I know I def. gotta eat more.
