Did a better job setting up the headcam and get some better footage of what it's like on the long range rifle portion or a 3 gun match. You can't really see the targets because the cam has no magnification but you get a sense of what a 8" target is at 360 yards.

So why do you not see 3 gun people with like an eotech out on the forearm and why do the mall ninjas never use cmore red dots?

A eotech would just be too big and stupid looking out on the handguard. It would proably work just as well as a cmore for 3 gun. As far as mall ninjas who knows? Maybe "real operators" or interweb wanabe's offically endorse eotech?

Man now you done it. All the tactical testicles are going to get butt hurt now. "You can't run my night vision or 3x monocular off a cmore."

8" at 360? Christ. I'd have a tough time with that, and I'm decent. You get penalized for going out of order on the COF? I thought I heard you say you'd come back to a target.

no. my opinion is that if the optic can't survive a 3 day carbine course it's crap.

not my problem the eotech (among others) fall into that category :wavey:

Varies from stage to stage but on that particular stage only requirement was that all targets be hit. That stupid target was about 135 yards on the other side of a ridge that blocked the target from prone. Only way to get it was to shoot it unsupported. After that little run I was breathing too hard to take it off hand. I had to calm myself down and come back for it later.

I'm sure the target would of been no problem if I was calm, not on the timer, and not having a whole crowd of spectators watching, but what fun would that be?

are you using 30rnders? i noticed it says in CA, but it seems like you're going more than 10 rnds before a reload, and you aren't using a bullet button. it's obvious you're using an AR, so how are you doing this? or are you not from CA?

I am fortunate in that I owned a AR and mags prior to the AW ban. I registered the rifle and it is grandfathered. For those not as fortunate who either did not own a rifle before the ban or who did not register the rifle they usually go for a monsterman or ub-15 stock so they can use detachable mags.

Said people w/ ub-15 stocks maybe were lucky in they did own the mags prior to the ban they just never got around to getting the rifle ;)

The law reads that it is on the state to prove that you did not in fact own said high caps prior to the ban. This would be very difficult to do unless it's for a mag/gun that was not in production before the ban. It is legal to repair a pre existing mag that you own. For example I upgraded my 2nd gen glock mag bodies for 5th gen and I have the 2nd gen mag bodies in a zip lock bag in my safe.
