Ok, so my son recently started living with me and he's too young to go to the gym with me. I now have three days a week that I can make it to the gym, but I can spend all the time I need there those days.

Will having three days per week allow me to keep to a decent routine? Or should I just do cardio and forget about anything else? :sad2:

Christopers made a post about two months back about one of his powerlifting friends who lifted tues/wed/thurs. I think he listed his routine too.

IMO :bigthumb: for stepping up to the plate as a dad...more impressive than anything you'll ever accomplish in the gym. That being said, I am in a similar situation and yes 3 days in a row is doable....tough as fuck on your body...but doable!

    Thanks

It's not the three days in a row I'm too worried about, I'm not not looking to increase mass or anything. I'm just looking to maintain the muscle I currently have and lose some fat. :sad2:

It's the four days in a row off I'm worried about :o

Strive to eat clean and the 4 days won't be an issue. I have my 5 yr old eating grilled chicken carrots rice/potatos etc..he LOVES it. We still hit up a McDs for him every now and then...but he yells at his mother if she goes there...tells her it's junk food and she will get fatter.... I love that kid! LOL

3 days per week is fine. Don't be a head case.

God damn some of you are dense. If the routine calls for mon/wed/fri just run it on tues/thurs/sat that you have free to lift. Not change the fucking days you have the kid:ugh:
