Im thinking of getting a 2nd 8800GTX so I can get 2 more monitors, Im not gonna run them in SLI.

Right now I have a 600W OCZ Gamerxtreme PSU, which is made for SLI.... but I also got a QX6700 and 6 HDs, and 4 case fans. Will the 600W have enough juice to run the 2nd 8800GTX if I get it?

I've seen people saying 750 minimum for that kind of rig.
Silverstone and PC Power&Cooling have some high power stuff like that.

If I plan to have 2 video cards, Id need an SLI-ready PSU, even if I dont plan to run them in SLI mode? Unless they finally let you use SLI for multiple monitor setups.

I'm pretty sure the power connectors for the 8800gtx are normal molex 4 pin types.

My BFG 8800gtx is not the 4 pin molex connectors, it's got 2 6 pin pci-e adapters. It did come with a pair of 2x molex to 1 pcie power adapters.

I'd look at something around 800w minimum for a pair of gtx's.

Yah, but each card has space for 2, so 8 pins in total. So I plugged both of them into the same video card.

That's strange. I thought for sure I had seen pics of them with the molex connectors. :dunno:
