I like the photos, but the couple seemed to be faking it. Divorce in 2 years.

Yeah they were on a fairly tight budget, I did the wedding for 400 Canadian... Not much at all, but fair considering its my 2nd wedding.

Hahah yeah the black girl had attitude the whole time, after I took a shot of her she was mumbling at me under her breath lol

I dont really like these. Most dont seem very focuses and are pretty noisy overall. I dont think I'd want someone shooting my wedding with a 18-70 kit lens either lol.

Oh well...learning experience...for you because you get some experience taking pictures and for them when they get divorced 2 years from now, then remarry, not to use an amateur photographer for such an important moment.

The Kit lens isn't a bad lens, until I can afford something much better, i'm probably going to trade it soon for the 17-200 VR soon as its more readily available, most of the photos are not noisy actually, and are focused, but thanks ;) Go troll elsewhere

really? my god, and this whole time I thought... The kit lens is slightly soft I find, maybe I should send it to NIKON to see if they can do anything about it; or I wont bother and just get the VR when its here.

BTW, the reason these seem more out of focus is b/c I resized them all and did NOT apply unsharp MASK...

Trolling? You asked for an opinion and I gave you mine. I dont see what the problem is. :nono: I had an 18-70 and now an 18-200 VR..I dont think I'd use either for a wedding but thats just me. Congrats if you feel you produced pictures, thats all that matters (and that the customer is happy). Im not saying they are terrible pictures. Im saying they are not at the quality level (atleast) I would like for my wedding.

I dont think you use either? :dunno:

The photos are pretty cool! I quite like them. In some of the church ones the backgrounds are a little strange. Good job!

Well i'm pretty sure if I didn't say anything about this being my 2nd wedding or that I used a kit lens, you wouldn't have known, so what remains is your pompous attitude, I cant afford any really worth while lenses right now, then again I didn't exactly charge top dollar for the wedding, both the bride/groom, understood this and knew full well my history, I showed them my professional portfolio doing portraits/events/landscapes and they were very pleased, so they decided to go with me........ The photos turned out fairly well, considering the circumstances...

I really dont care what 'lens' you would have used or not, you can shove that up your ***, if you felt you wanted to add some constructive crit on composition/framing/exposure, then perhaps okay, but since you havn't done so, none of the information you have posted has been a) helpful or b) insightful or c) relevant.... but thanks.

Oh yeah, i'll make sure to add some USM to the "resized" for web jpgs... maybe you did have one good point, my bad.
