Looks like things are starting to make sense even in spite of the congressional situation....
Does anyone have theories on the timing? Is it just that the previous years of Republican rule are starting to yield effects? Or is it just chance? (not to start a political debate, just thinking aloud)
And how many fucking years did it take for them to realize that?
I'm not sure it's time, so much as legal precedent. Without that landmark DC case, I don't think this one would have made it.

This is not a 2nd Amendment case. It is a fundamental fairness case. There is a difference.
When do you think we'll see them coming out of NYC and Cali?

there is a hell, Wisconsin... and its frozen over before
DC /= NJ, and since this case was likely argued before the DC decision, and the fact that there is no jurisdiction precedent, renders your hypothesis unlikely....
And I am glad someone spotted this as well, I wasnt going to quivel with such details
