2hrs later and my 2Gb of fonts are installed...

    *WHEW* That was painful. I've had the same tired set of fonts for a few years now. Found a 2Gb pack on Demonoid and it finally finished today.

    I let Suitcase Fusion scrub out the problem ones and it organized the rest for me.

    i use what comes with the system, maybe 3-5 extra, then download what i need when i need it if i need it.

    why so many?

    I probably have your 5Gb with the 3Gb of fonts that all look the same cut out. One can only have so many interpretations of Helvetica or Garamond.

    who needs memory when u have 11,000 fonts.

    tho it makes picking one a slow tiresome process :p

    When you use a program like Suitcase Fusion or other font manager it lets me pick & choose what I want to load. It will also automagically load the fonts when I open a file.
