    *NO SPOILERS*

OK- that was a pretty fucking BAD movie as far as teh racing aspect goes. In fact, there really wasn't too much street racing at all. Don't bother going to see it unless you're a big fan of shitty cop drama movies.

As for the movei itself: the writing was passable and there wasn't TOO much cheese. THe acting was AWFUL with one shining exception: as much as I really wanted to dislike Tyrese as a "another pretty face hiring to hype the film", he really did do a fucking great job. Best character in the movie. I also feel obligated to mention for all you AzN T33n lovers out there that the Asian grill that stars in the film is busted- sorry guys.

John Singletons directing was decent, with a couple of momentary flashes of greatness, but a general hum-drum standard fare, with a couple of shots/pans during driving sequences that are simply nauseating.

As for the cars: Expect rice, rice and LOTS more rice. It's also basically one big product placement extravaganza for Mitsubishi. Nothing but the Evo and Eclipse, and both are rice-tastic.

Overall: Mildly entertaining, but save your money and go see the Matrix. Again.

2 hours of Mitsu isn't bad, except the fact it's a 3g and a mold-green looking Evo :ugh:

    :werd:, Bruh.

Saw an early screening last night and went in expecting crap. I was pleasantly surprised. It's a good, dumb, summer, actiony flick.

I actually liked it better that they didn't try to talk about cars when they didn't know what they were saying (tune the motech exhaust), bruh.
