295x1 front squat, 315x1 attempt *VIDS*

    i put the bars too high on the 315 attempt like an idiot. because when i went down i tapped them. i think that messed with me

    nice job!!! what technique do you use to dump it, especially if you are in the hole? Do you simply fall backwards on ur ass and let the bars catch it? Just curious, i might want to try doing this exercise more

    unfortunately, the catch bars were too high. this enabled me to just squat even deeper than my attempt to let the bars catch after i knew i couldnt get it up. if there were no bars i would have just unfolded my arms and droped the bar forward :dunno:

    a disproportionate amount. max back squat is around 365

    nice work

    I just started front squatting 2 weeks ago, its a lot more natural to me than regular squats.

    whenever i try front squats, even just like 135 the bar hurts! I can never get the placement right, especially when my arms are folded.

    Some people's back squats are very close to their front squats.

    i think what helps you front squat that much is your body positioning. you got great flexibility so you can stay completely upright. looking good especially for 192

    Ever try the "Olympic" style of grip? As if you just completed a Clean. It will take some wrist flexibility though.

    Rep wise I can front squat pretty similarly to my back. The position just feels more comfortable and keeping perfect form is easier with less stress on my back.

    When it comes to 1RM though, my back squat is considerably higher.
